Rigorous quality-control procedures

 

Plastmo PVC-u profiles are considered to be among the most technically advanced on the market, thanks to our constant innovation and strict quality-control procedures.

All raw materials are tested for quality and consistency, and samples are taken throughout the manufacturing and extrusion process to be tested for colour and surface finish. Rigorous impact and heat tests are also carried out at regular intervals.

Independent quality and security accreditations

Such thorough attention to detail and commitment to quality has been recognised by accreditations from the British Board of Agrément (BBA) and British Standards Institution (BSI).

Our commitment to the highest levels of security in our products was recognised when we became the first PVC-u profile manufacturer to gain security approval from the BBA.

Our BBA assessments continue to confirm material performance and product security. In addition, we hold British ISO9001 approval and our profiles meet BS Kitemark® 32821. (NOTE: please check whether this applies to all products)
